Revelation of the Word of God is a simple, systematic, chronological study of the Bible. The vision for this type of Bible School was placed in the heart of Dr. Neill in the 1970’s. But that was not really the beginning. God had both Marvin and Fay in training for this ministry practically all of their lives. They were both born into Christian families. Each of them accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord while they were still youngsters. As they reached their early teenage years, they became youth leaders in their respective churches. Fay became recognized for her ability to write Christian youth programs. Marvin had the youth group of his church kneeling at the church altar even though that was not a common practice in his church.

Although Marvin and Fay attended the same high school, they did not know each other. But God had a plan that would get them together. Marvin went out of town to college. It was while he was there that he received his calling into the ministry and was led to change his church membership to a different denomination. Upon returning home for the summer, Marvin was eager to preach in churches affiliated with the denomination that was new to him. You guessed it! Marvin was invited to preach in the church where Fay attended. From that point, the two began their work together—neither suspecting that marriage would result. Their first joint effort was to direct a Vacation Bible School. From there, they continued to work together, attend camp meetings, and special denominational assemblies.

When fall came, Marvin returned to Bible College. The two communicated almost daily with letters in decorated envelopes. (The mail clerk in the college post office found the envelopes very entertaining.) It was in November that Marvin proposed to Fay via the mail. She responded with an acceptance. The letters became longer as plans were made for a wedding the next June.

On June 15, 1963 Marvin and Fay were united in Holy Matrimony. Their first work as a married couple was to work in a Vacation Bible School. One of their students was a beautiful little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her name was LeNaye. Marvin and Fay determined if they ever had a little girl, her name also would be LeNaye. Without question their little girl would have blonde hair and blue eyes. After a couple of miscarriages, Fay was able to deliver a bouncing baby boy (Eddie) in 1967. LeNaye arrived in 1968. She was a beautiful baby with brown eyes and dark hair. It was almost immediate that the children were incorporated into the work of the ministry.

In the mid to late ’70’s, God began to give Marvin a dream for a Bible College to be located in Nashville, Tennessee. One of the specialties of the school would be a musical theatrical production presenting the whole Bible in chronological order. God gave him a vision using technology for this presentation even before some of the necessary technology existed. Marvin’s part was to write the script. He took one whole summer writing the material. The next summer he edited it. When it was finished it was a commentary on the whole Bible.

The door did not open to build a Bible College. Instead, the Neills were asked to direct the Adult Bible School of a mega church. The completed commentary was revised into a four year curriculum. The same commentary is now being used as a guide for the REVELATION OF THE WORD BIBLE SCHOOL weekly television program. Fay reads the supporting Scriptures and then Marvin explains the verses.

The desire to build a Bible College is still very much alive. The Neills believe in God’s perfect timing, the finances, the personnel, and the God-given talents will be manifested. A Bible-based, fundamental, Spirit-filled institution will be built.

Over the years, the Neills have been youth pastors, bus ministers, children church directors, associate pastors, Bible teachers, phone counselors, radio ministers, TV ministers and pastors. They have continued to conduct Vacation Bible Schools for children and Fay and her ventriloquist doll have blessed many VBS assemblies. Currently, Marvin and Fay pastor a church; have a TV ministry; and provide spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial counseling. They both are educators. Teaching the Word of God to people of the world is their mission. The Prayer of Jabez is their motivation.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested. 1 Chronicles 4:10 (KJV)
